The Radical Film and Lecture Series is organized by a collective of NYU graduate students aiming — without any grand illusions — to bridge the gap between the all too often insulated world of scholarship and the social and political challenges that face us. We wish to put our academic pursuits in the service of more meaningful efforts to diagnose these problems and organize against them. In so doing, we try to put events together in collaboration with as many groups fighting for justice and change as possible.
